Our MissionWe believe that the people God sends to us are His special creations, made in His image. We are chosen to be His vessels, endeavoring to reflect Him and His good will in all that we do. Your images are special to us! Genesis 1:27 "And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." |

Janet Huhn Photographer My love of photography began thirty years ago as owner of a travel agency. Traveling to exotic destinations gave me the opportunity to photograph many challenging people and places. In 1999 I began doing photography at the prompting of a friend who had been a professional photographer for many years. I love photography and look forward to making friends with the people I meet.
Even though I enjoy doing the more candid, "hang loose" style of photo journalism at weddings, we also include a few traditional photos of the bride and groom, wedding party and family taken after the ceremony. We include a mixture of color, black and white and black and white with a bit of color.
I also enjoy taking family and children portraits, taking time for everyone to feel at ease. Even Dads go away saying they've had fun!
I'm an animal lover and have two dogs and a parrot. So pet photos are dear to my heart. Our large waterfront property is a great place for pets to sniff around and feel at home.
We specialize in senior and graduation photos. And because of our colorful summer garden and lovely waterfront location, we do many beautiful outdoor portraits right here. We also travel to the beach upon request. We have indoor backdrops for the formal pictures. We're often told how easy, comfortable and fun it is to have photographs taken with Photos by Janet! Even senior guys enjoy it! (Now, that really says something!!)
We're also known to be one of the best deals in town. Check us out and enjoy your tour of our website...

Testimonial by Stephen Worden, Wilmington, Delaware "We hired Janet for a Bethany Beach portrait and had a great time. She and her assistant introduced themselves and we immediately liked her personal approach to her work. She was obviously interested in us. This wasn't just a business transaction to her. She is an artist - without the 'attitude' some artists might have. However, she clearly wanted to produce something special for us.
So we walked around chatting while she composed photos in her mind - at the lifeguard stand, by some sandcastles, close to the water (timing the breaking waves perfectly), close ups, family shots, various groupings. Janet moved us around without being bossy, listened to the input about the photos we wanted, and set up every shot we had hoped for.
She was challenged by intermittent clouds that totally changed the light, a sad two year old (who was denied access to one of the sand castles by it's owner), two boys that would rather leap off the lifeguard stand rather than sit still. By the way, Janet took advantage of the leaping kids to get some of the coolest pictures. Picture a two year old and a four year old with big grins and big eyes flying through the air and you have it.
My wife and I had fun, too. Personally, I was NOT looking forward to the experience. It was my wife's idea and I was "just going along with it." But the excitement that Valerie and Janet had between them caught me, too. I enjoyed meeting Janet and learning more about her work.
If nothing else, the results speak for themselves. We used them as our Christmas cards, gifts to various relatives, and feature them prominently in our home. Everyone who checks out the "Family Wall" comments on them. I expect anyone who uses her services will have a similar story to tell!"

Jadean Watkinson Photographer | Several years ago I retired from working with the government and am excited about being able to work full time now with my lifelong love of photography. Janet calls me her "dancing photographer" because I can't sit still. I have to always be out in the middle of where the action is. I love people, I love photography and I love to have fun. |

Pat Guidera Photographer| I worked in the field of social work for over 20 years. So, I like helping people. Janet says that I have a natural eye for photography. My style is quiet and unobtrusive - you'll hardly notice all the photos I will be taking! I love doing this and I enjoy helping people on their special day. I feel blessed to be part of Janet's "team". |
